I Hear Christmas Bells

Wake me up when September begins. That should be our song instead of the original title that says the opposite. I know I said I'll be posting Polyvore moodboards on Saturdays but since -ber months started, I can't resist to post some Christmas looks to welcome the first week of the festive season here in the Philippines! There's going to be a lot of shopping so better know now what you aim to save or splurge at!

Christmas Day

I don't know what's with Christmas days that my family and relatives always feel tired. Every December 25, we will go to mass and right after, go back to my Grandma's house and wait for visitors. Sometimes, many come. But usually, only a few people visit.

This year we attended a Christmas Vigil Mass on the 24th because my mom believes that it's better than the 25th mass. We are welcoming Christ's coming, his birth to the world.

Anyways, we didn't attend mass anymore on Christmas day. We also didn't stay at the house. Way to break the habit! We met with relatives from my dad's side and attended Danielle's third birthday party instead. Danielle is the daughter of my dad's brother, Tito Leo.

Christmas Time is Here

It's that time of the year again! Christmas! It's the season I love the most! Who doesn't, right?

My family and I always celebrate Christmas with my relatives on the mother's side because aside from Jesus Christ's birthday, it's also the birthday of my grandmother!:) Happy Birthday Jesus and Nanay! :)

A Christmas Reunion

I graduated high school at UST. I have visited it a few times after graduation but since second year started, I haven't gone to it for a long time. I had to wait for Paskuhan to come before I went back to my beloved alma mater.

Paskuhan is a yearly Christmas celebration of UST where students come flock, bands are invited to perform,  and a fireworks display is set. I've been going to Paskuhan since 1st year high school so there is no way I'm missing it now even if I don't study in UST anymore.

Plus, it's always nice to see old, familiar faces and how much they've changed!

I also consider Paskuhan a fashion event because so many students dress up for the night. It's one big campus party!

Theatrical Christmas

Remember UP JC, the organization I mentioned here? Well, like other organizations, we hold an annual Christmas party. I was one of the organizing team this year. I don't know how we came up with the Dark Opera theme for a Christmas party but I don't care, it was fun dressing up! As always! :)
(though we changed it to theatrical at the last minute =))

Singapore on Film

A quick break from outfit posts!

If you've been following my blog, you would know that I took my Minolta SLR for a spin the first time when we went to Singapore.

I have a Basic Photography class this semester and I was hoping I can use what I will learn in the three weeks of November on our trip so I can somehow produce A-class photos but my professor just showed up last Friday so say hello to my beginner photography prowess(if it can even pass as that)!

I know I've already uploaded Singapore photos but those were digital. Film can par up with digital, I tell you! I used three colored film rolls but as said, I'm still a trying-hard photographer and ended up with only 22 photos and 19 to show you! haha So much for my overall 92-point and shoot clicking!

Here are the photos! Tralalala
