Polka and Leather

It's an unspoken tradition in my family that we spend Christmas on my mom's side and New Year on my dad's end.

So we went to Tanauan, Batangas to reunite with my relatives there. My 9-year old cousin, Kathleen, with family, came all the way from Australia to join us in welcoming the New Year!

Stripes on Print

Time for another backlog again!

I have always wondered why fashion bloggers have to race for the sun. Now I know! The photos turn out better without changing much camera settings.

Unfortunately, it was already nearing sunset when I took these photos. Just minutes before!
Game na ba? I was asking my sister if we’re really already going to shoot at this spot when she answered with a click.

A Christmas Reunion

I graduated high school at UST. I have visited it a few times after graduation but since second year started, I haven't gone to it for a long time. I had to wait for Paskuhan to come before I went back to my beloved alma mater.

Paskuhan is a yearly Christmas celebration of UST where students come flock, bands are invited to perform,  and a fireworks display is set. I've been going to Paskuhan since 1st year high school so there is no way I'm missing it now even if I don't study in UST anymore.

Plus, it's always nice to see old, familiar faces and how much they've changed!

I also consider Paskuhan a fashion event because so many students dress up for the night. It's one big campus party!

Here's what I wore:

Sisters with Benefits

Before Christmas break kicks off, University of the Philippines hosts an annual Lantern Parade where the different colleges will showcase floats and march inside the campus.

I am already in my second year but this is the first time I went to the parade because I chose a high school reunion than join it last year. Well, it doesn't matter how many times I go, I just had so much fun this time!

In my Singapore posts, I noticed that the outfit shots weren't emphasized much because I cramped everything in a single post so I decide I'll blog Lantern Parade pictures on a separate one tomorrow. :)

For now, here's what I wore.

Red Birthday Treats: College Loves

Still in celebration of my becoming a lady, I treated my groups of friends over lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner. As I said in my very first blog post here, I am so thankful for my wonderful circle of friends who never fail to make me happy as bee! I am not much a socialite but being surrounded with this small group of amazing people is enough to make my chaotic earth life into my own simple heaven.(Come on, say awww! Okay, you don't have to. =)

I decided to share the most recent one (just today actually!) with my college peers! Some weren't able to come because of the short notice and other issues but I had fun anyway. =)

For this blowout series, I wanted to wear red items because I am a conformist like that. Self-proclaimed and proud. And you know when someone is celebrating her/his birthday, it's traditional to wear red so yeah, you get the drill.
