Revisiting my Grandma's Closet Part II (and feels on life and everything else)

As promised, here's the second round of revisiting my grandma's closet. In my attempt to score a timely piece, I found a bold statement one instead---big standout flowers, not to mention. I grabbed a floral button-down given to my sister from my cousin and donned a print-on-print ensemble that I was happy, in some magic way, worked. There was nothing alike in these two pieces except for the presence of flowers in both. It can be argued the colors weren't really made to be paired but in my alternate reality, it's simply fashionable. This outfit post enters the list of my weekend's many surprises.

Revisiting Grandma's Closet Part 1

If you're a regular reader of my blog, you would know that everytime I visit my grandma's house, I have this habit of meddling with her things, her closet in particular. There are just so many vintage florals and pleats that I bet will make every fashion heart giddy.

Holiday Shoot: The Pink Sisters

My sister and I were beyond thrilled when we found out that my mom, aunts and grandmother are all wearing shades of pink, fuschia, violet, and whatever color you want to call it that goes by that color wheel. We've planned a December 25 shoot of the four of them  for future frames to be hanged on the many blank walls of my uncle's spacious house. My grandmother got tired after mass though and she changed to her home clothes right when we arrived back from church. So voila, presenting, the Pink Sisters in their own holiday shopping catalogue!

Not So Throwback (1 of 5 Series)

So my friends and I had been planning to shoot since our August reunion but we only had the time now. It was so worth the wait that even if we only had a few days to conceptualize, we...we did it! I can't wait to show you all the pictures!

Here's the first one because she's the oldest and the reason why we had the shoot in the first place. Right, Aila?
