Where to Eat: Dining at Yabu

Before my cousin left to go back to Canada, we had dinner outside on Noche Buena grocery day at SM Makati. It was a long fight between eating at the food court from eating somewhere nice. The battle was won, I must say, and my tummy sure was pampered that day. So if you're looking for a resto to pig out on New Year's Day, Yabu is the place to go!

Cafe Med, A Taste of Mediterranean

Took me until past midnight to heavily post-process these photos so staying true to the signature me, I'll edit this post's text right after I work on it in Microsoft Word. After all, I have to pass this food review for my Feature Writing class on Tuesday. So anyway, this was how my birthday afternoon was spent, with people I barely know and of a foreign taste I admit I'm not that quite open about. But contemplating deeply on it, I'm 19 and I should be up for trying all things new so here's a taste of some Mediterranean! :)

Higantes Festival 2013: Encountering Goliaths

Here's a photo diary I prepared for all of you guys. Thanks again to Anj Eder for inviting us over to her place and celebrate Higantes Festival with her friends and family. It's been a while since I last attended a provincial festival so you can just imagine how excited I was to go there.

#OOTD story: Melt in Peace

To infuse fashion and creative writing in this blog, I thought of accompanying my pictures together with short stories inspired by the outfit. I wasn’t able to draft my story before shooting so my apologies if these pictures don’t show the story as it should. I promise next week for an improved #ootd story blog post! J

Create for A Cause

I've been leaving these pictures hanging in one of my blog folders, untouched for quite a while now. It's just that everytime I open a draft in Blogger for a new post, I get drowsy even before typing a word and opt to drift off to a power nap of five minutes that uncontrollably extends to 30 and even more. I don't really know why. I guess it kinda falls on the same vein of reason why my Ethics professor was quick to point out how she'll catch me sleeping in class sometimes. You guys should never abuse your body so you'll have time for events like what I'm going to blog about right now! :)

Manila PubCrawl X Red Cross

I'll make this real quick because I feel like cheating my report group mates from taking some time to blog than to finish my part, lol.

Anyway, I was invited by a friend to go to PubCrawl Charity Party this Saturday. PubCrawl holds two parties, one at Boracay which I believe was held yesterday and one in Manila, the one I am going to.

This is the first charity PubCrawl for 2013 in which they partnered with Red Cross so all attendees get to party for a cause! All proceeds from the party will go in funding the lifeguard training of local youth by the Red Cross Malaya Chapter.

And it's not just a party! We get to go to five of the hottest bars in the metro: Central Bbq Boy Grill, 121 Bar and Grill, PrivĂ©, and Republiq. In one friggin' night. This is going to be a blast! I hope you guys join in the fun!

I'm not a party girl so this is definitely going to be a major first for me.

For more details about the PubCrawl, visit their sitehttp://www.pubcrawl.ph/
And for more updates on Manila PubCrawl this Saturday, check out their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/ManilaPubCrawl

Christmas Time is Here

It's that time of the year again! Christmas! It's the season I love the most! Who doesn't, right?

My family and I always celebrate Christmas with my relatives on the mother's side because aside from Jesus Christ's birthday, it's also the birthday of my grandmother!:) Happy Birthday Jesus and Nanay! :)
