Polyvore Saturdays: Red Loyalty

Millybridal Prom Dresses

We all know that the uniform for birthdays is red. In our 21st century, some (or a lot) people, wanting to be tagged cool and unconventional, had been avoiding the tradition and wear any color besides red during their birthdays. I've said this before and I'll say it again, my aversion to hipsters and very much mainstream nature naturally gravitates me towards the majority and the socially accepted norm. (Plus, it helps a lot that red is my second favorite color!) So since I'm counting very, very few days before my 19th birthday, I prepared a Polyvore post just for me (haha, I'm your #1 narcissist). :)

Polyvore Sets: Time for the Man

I asked my mom to take my outfit shots for today but sorry Mom (I just have to say this) and to me too apparently that her zero camera skills and my camera's one bar battery charge can conquer my strong drive for my usual Sunday outfit posts.

So time to be resourceful again. Here's another round of Polyvore sets for you! I have always wanted to try styling for men and what other day to start than now. I got to admit though, these are quite very usual. I just think that when you're a guy, the way to look stylish is too look clean and fresh!

MTV 2013 VMA: How to Dress It Down

Millybridal Prom Dresses

Let me start by clarifying that these are not my best dressed bets. That crown rightfully belongs to our modern-day Juliet, Miss Taylor Swift.  I know she doesn't explore much when it comes to her sartorial decisions but I'm pretty sure we can all agree she dresses perfectly.

I chose to put these four in my VMA post because they dressed up with that glam factor that are so easy to dress down and for you to see the striking contrast.

Polyvore Saturdays: Every Color, Every Hue

Here's another round of Polyvore Saturdays for you guys!

Sorry if I wasn't able to blog for five days straight and if there was no edition of this blog segment last week because I was out somewhere that I should actually already have blogged about.

I stroll in three malls twice a week these days because I pass by them on my way to internship. The shopaholic in me can't stop looking at tenants and store displays even if I'm always on a hurry. I noticed that there are a lot of shops, okay just two, that use one color in their fashion sets. I reckon it's pretty cool to catch attention so copycat me wanted to give it a try. Here they are. Voila!

My first time to blog at 2 in the morning. Here's how dedicated I am.

I did some Polyvore sets for you guys tonight. Tried out a new season, made relevance to an American holiday and reinforced the trend of military coolness.

Filling in the Void

Class tomorrow at 8:30, already midnight in the timezone I'm in, and mom's relentless nagging are making me shut down this computer in seconds. I haven't blogged for a while so I'm using just one more minute to post this before I hit the sack. Pardon me for the lack of words for now.

Second Time Around

I promise by the end of this week, I'll have two outfit posts for you. But for now, here's some of my recent Polyvore sets. How I wish I can afford to buy all these but since I can't just yet, I'm contented in showing styles that I love with my simple mood boards.

Catching Up

Since it's already midnight in the time zone I'm in, I'll make this real quick.

I've known Polyvore since I was in high school but I only found out just now (as in only today) that you can create a look in the site as quick as five minutes! I've been missing a lot!

I've always wanted to do mood boards for my blog but I find it hard (and tiredly so ) to search for different pieces in an outfit from millions of sites out there. So when I discovered this from my friend, Bianca, I just had to try it out!

Here are some looks that I would totally wear if I had them in my closet. :)
