Lookbook Challenge, Series 4: Be Rockin'

Hi everyone! Today's the last of my lookbook challenge with Anna of stylelovely.com! I personally would like to thank those who viewed our looks from the first until the last and to those who left their comments in the posts. (I hope I can work with some of you someday!) Of course, I would like to thank Anna for saying yes and being such a pleasure to work with. Thanks, Anna!

On that note, we're ending this collab in a blast with our rocker chic looks!

Persunmall's Take on Leather and Mustard

Just a few days ago, my package from Persunmall finally arrived! Thank you very much Persunmall for sending these items in. I was absolutely in love with the pleated leather skirt and the soft fabric of the top. The mustard color I believe suited my skin tone well. And I'm not saying this because I got the items for free, I really do love it all for the right reasons! The quality is great which I don't usually get from online shopping so way to go, Persunmall!

19 and Happy

It’s been five days after my birthday and I still haven’t talked about it. Maybe because I’ve been doing it every year; and it’s fast becoming just a Facebook calendar event when people will greet me without really knowing in the first place that it’s my birthday.

Stand Up for Something

Just a quick break from fashion and to share with you guys some of the things I stand for in life. Chos!
If you've followed this blog from the start, you would know that I have a Basic Photography class this semester under Prof. Palomares of UP Diliman's Film Department because I blabbered about it here.

So for last week or last last week, our exercise was Portraits. We had to think of a theme that all of us would prepare for our portraits to be in accordance with. After a very heated decision-making time, we finally agreed on the theme, "Advocacy."

So here's some of the photos from my class:
This is Taj.I'm not sure if he's a Muslim but his advocacy is to stop discrimination against Muslims and society's unfair generalization that they are all or are capable of becoming terrorists.

Sisters with Benefits

Before Christmas break kicks off, University of the Philippines hosts an annual Lantern Parade where the different colleges will showcase floats and march inside the campus.

I am already in my second year but this is the first time I went to the parade because I chose a high school reunion than join it last year. Well, it doesn't matter how many times I go, I just had so much fun this time!

In my Singapore posts, I noticed that the outfit shots weren't emphasized much because I cramped everything in a single post so I decide I'll blog Lantern Parade pictures on a separate one tomorrow. :)

For now, here's what I wore.

Red Birthday Treats: CYA Family

My third treat was for my CYA-UPD brothers and sisters.

CYA stands for Christ's Youth in Action. It is a college organization that molds students to grow as leaders and followers of Christ. CYA is divided into many units. I am a UP Diliman student and that automatically puts me as part of the QC-Hub district (schools found in the Quezon City area). I became involved in this organization since I was first year because my sister, who is already a member of CYA (but from another unit), invited me.  I want to change and grow in my faith so I said why not give it a try. One of the things I love about CYA is its strong upbuilding relationships.

I love my CYA family and treated some of them for Red box fun!

Red Birthday Treats: College Loves

Still in celebration of my becoming a lady, I treated my groups of friends over lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner. As I said in my very first blog post here, I am so thankful for my wonderful circle of friends who never fail to make me happy as bee! I am not much a socialite but being surrounded with this small group of amazing people is enough to make my chaotic earth life into my own simple heaven.(Come on, say awww! Okay, you don't have to. =)

I decided to share the most recent one (just today actually!) with my college peers! Some weren't able to come because of the short notice and other issues but I had fun anyway. =)

For this blowout series, I wanted to wear red items because I am a conformist like that. Self-proclaimed and proud. And you know when someone is celebrating her/his birthday, it's traditional to wear red so yeah, you get the drill.
