You Only Live Once

Time will come and I'd be able to produce Photoshop outputs without relying  from Filter gallery and beautiful fonts. But until that time comes, I will bear my Photoshop know-how at present to come up with this easy-to-do things. Mind you, this is in relation to today's post and other cheugh in life.

One with Nature

Do me a favor and close your eyes for a while. (well after reading this, lol)

They say that the blind can see more than what is visible to the eye. Assume that state as your eyes are closed.

Feel the beating of the heart as it catches up with the pulse of time, the air that cascades through the innermost pores of your skin, the trickling of raindrops as they slowly thud to the ground.

No Way to Treat A Lady

It took a long time before I can confidently wear shorts and skirts and even feel more comfortable in them than pants.

I would always have thoughts of myself being a fashionista and all in high school but I never got the the guts to wear something else besides a shirt and jeans because of my insecurities. Well, time has its way of changing us and I'd say it worked its magic on me much.

But changes do operate on a  sequential cycle and  when  one happens, it pulls others to existence. Not
only did the change transpired in me but also on how people interact or see me as a person.

I don't have a problem with my friends but with strangers who'd say an irritating "Hi, Miss" when I pass by their corner of the street, especially when I'm wearing a skirt.  Is that the proper way of treating a lady???!
Goodness gracious, NO!

Perfectly Imperfect

Growing up, I have never seen any beauty or power in myself. I’d rather hide in the shadows and envy those in the spotlight because of their capability to engage people that I don’t have.

Day and Night

In celebration of my cousin's 10th birthday and my lola's 70th, my uncle and aunt organized a pool kiddie bash and a dinner party to be held at the same day and venue.

I wanted to wear something that can pass for the day and night.

My Accessory Haven: Wellmanson Quiapo

If you're from the Philippines, I'm sure you know Quiapo.

Quiapo is famous for its Church where every January 9, devotees of the Black Nazarene celebrate its feast.

Quiapo is for the masses. Aside from Quiapo Church, it is place where you go to buy affordable items such as cameras, camera equipment, clothes, shoes, cloth, household items, fruits, vegetables, etc.

Sweet 17

Remember the white dress I wore here? This is a repeat performance of it. I am just really amazed on how you can wear this white dress over and over again with few people noticing. You can wear it with a blazer and go to work. You can wear it with a cover-up and ballet flats to school. You can wear it as a top and put a skirt over. You can wear it as it is with your hair tied up in a bun. The possibilities are endless!

A Christmas Reunion

I graduated high school at UST. I have visited it a few times after graduation but since second year started, I haven't gone to it for a long time. I had to wait for Paskuhan to come before I went back to my beloved alma mater.

Paskuhan is a yearly Christmas celebration of UST where students come flock, bands are invited to perform,  and a fireworks display is set. I've been going to Paskuhan since 1st year high school so there is no way I'm missing it now even if I don't study in UST anymore.

Plus, it's always nice to see old, familiar faces and how much they've changed!

I also consider Paskuhan a fashion event because so many students dress up for the night. It's one big campus party!

Here's what I wore:

White Over my Chocolate Skin

Can I make a little confession? I've been planning to blog for over 7 months now. I've kept some backlogs even before starting this blog! It's time to dig through some of that!

I know it’s been a long time since these photos were taken but again, I wasn’t blogging yet so let me share it to you now. Like they say, it’s always better late than never!

My high school friend, Marize, invited me to her candy-themed debut party. I thought Marize was only turning 17 this year so it came off as a surprise.

Marize in her hot pink, ball gown. Have I told you already that pink is my favorite color? I am just head over heels with anything girly!

Red Birthday Treats: CYA Family

My third treat was for my CYA-UPD brothers and sisters.

CYA stands for Christ's Youth in Action. It is a college organization that molds students to grow as leaders and followers of Christ. CYA is divided into many units. I am a UP Diliman student and that automatically puts me as part of the QC-Hub district (schools found in the Quezon City area). I became involved in this organization since I was first year because my sister, who is already a member of CYA (but from another unit), invited me.  I want to change and grow in my faith so I said why not give it a try. One of the things I love about CYA is its strong upbuilding relationships.

I love my CYA family and treated some of them for Red box fun!
