To the Eternal Child

When you've forever thought that planned outings never happen and don't bother to do anything to change that habit, you'd think nothing will happen unless it's sudden. But you can't underestimate the thirst for amusement park bonding you heavily need after months of not personally seeing one another and house bumming and school work and whatever you and your friends are into except for the fact that you've unconsciously didn't exert any effort to catch up in person. Oh well the powers of nostalgia, friendship, sisterhood and....EK! (Woo! That must have been the longest sentence I've ever written!)
Excited (and nervous!) for the day ahead

The Silent Killer

There's just something about Ed Sheeran's voice--even though the lyrics are meant for something so much else--that makes my high school nostalgia a lot dearer. High school--a tiny, far-fetched memory that screams louder by the minute and if time travel is presently possible, I'd be back there in a second.

I've been replaying Ed's album while scouring through high school pictures (a.k.a. nene days) and I blame that sweet, childish voice for throwing me into an experience of memory lane that my ancient journal has never ever recorded.

How I wish I can go back to time and be in high school again. Less complicated, immature but not caring, ignorant but in peace, simple but happy. Oh high school, oh high school.
