2013 in Pictures

Since this year is coming to an end, just two hours and thirty one minutes to be exact, I compiled some of the silliest and bungisngis photos I had each month for this blog. These were the in-betweens, the outtakes from shoot after shoot. Some of these shots you've seen before but I deleted, and many making their debut today. Didn't Photoshop anything so you'll see the many lapses these photos originally have, those that I would naturally delete on an ordinary day.

This is me saying goodbye to 2013 and welcoming another year for this blog. Read until the end for a not so short message!

Polyvore Saturdays: Red Loyalty

Millybridal Prom Dresses

We all know that the uniform for birthdays is red. In our 21st century, some (or a lot) people, wanting to be tagged cool and unconventional, had been avoiding the tradition and wear any color besides red during their birthdays. I've said this before and I'll say it again, my aversion to hipsters and very much mainstream nature naturally gravitates me towards the majority and the socially accepted norm. (Plus, it helps a lot that red is my second favorite color!) So since I'm counting very, very few days before my 19th birthday, I prepared a Polyvore post just for me (haha, I'm your #1 narcissist). :)

Polyvore Saturdays: Trendspotting

Oh how I missed this blog segment of mine, Polyvore Saturdays! I haven't opened my Polyvore for about a month now, so it was really quite refreshing to see my dashboard again. Just to let my creativity flow and create mood boards of my fashion inspirations at present time is the perfect weekend breather, aside from watching movies I suppose.

I am a big fan of Tricia Gosingtian's blog, and I love it every time she'd post about fashion's current trends. Not to mention, I'm also becoming a loyal visitor of Who What Wear blog and trying to be more active in Lookbook these days, which brings me to make another round of Polyvore sets inspired by the latest trends!

Not So Throwback (5 of 5 Series)

We have come to the end of this series! I super enjoyed and yes, stressed myself of it. I really get soooo conscious whenever I share posts on my social networks where my friends are active. Even if the faces you've been seeing for the past four days weren't mine, I still stressed the hell out of my mind for those posts.  But enough chitchat, here's mine just in time for #ThrowbackThursdays!

Styled by Me

So my sister and her friends, Ate Audrey and Kuya Vince, decided to go Friday of last week at that high street in Taguig for a shoot that I'm not sure if it's fine to disclose why. But no worries, I'm posting these pictures with their consent.

When I entered our common room, my sister greeted me with a request to style them for said shoot. As always being game to play stylist for any occasion (and the mere fact that I love dressing up my sister!), I gladly helped them out. These are all my personal items that I already wore here in my blog but I styled differently for their shoot. :)

Though this blog have changed me for the better, it also led to many scowls from my parents and even from myself. I have always been very tight with my money, saving a large sum before spending it in one go. But ever since this blog came to be, or at least when I reached the point that there's nothing left in my closet that I haven't worn yet here, I've been buying clothes every month.

If you think that I just ask money from my parents, then you're wrong.  I've been working real hard so I can buy what I want. We all have our interests. Photographers invest in cameras. Bookworms collect books. Music fans hoard albums. In my case, I save up for clothes.

There's Only One Way To Rock

Yesterday, I went to Family Fun Day of my father's new brotherhood. As a self-proclaimed introvert, frequent sale shopper, and terribly frail girl, I'm not really one for activity-filled days and it doesn't help that sales are around the corner. But when you see so much excitement and happiness in your dad that you haven't seen before, how can you turn sinister and say a No even if you want to? (I did gain some new friends!)
I'd break your curiosity before you can judge me. I wore this after the Fun Day because you just don't wear something like this in a Christian brotherhood and while pretending you came to play something, lol.
