Lookbook Challenge, Series 4: Be Rockin'

Hi everyone! Today's the last of my lookbook challenge with Anna of! I personally would like to thank those who viewed our looks from the first until the last and to those who left their comments in the posts. (I hope I can work with some of you someday!) Of course, I would like to thank Anna for saying yes and being such a pleasure to work with. Thanks, Anna!

On that note, we're ending this collab in a blast with our rocker chic looks!

Lookbook Challenge, Series 3: Be Girly

We’re now on the third leg of my collab series with Anna of!  Can't think of a word more appropriate to describe this style so what better way to name it than to use the description itself. I just discovered while I was going ukay shopping again, this time at Cubao, that my style is everything but girly. Case in point: I am not excited over bow headbands and pearl necklaces as I'd probably be over tasteful spikes and studs. So I found this challenge particularly challenging. Crossing my fingers that this look worked. This is about the girliest I can get.

Treasuring the Old: Makati Cinema Square

That time of the month has come when wallets become empty but the same fashion appetite that never gets satisfied remains. True-blooded fashionistas don’t ever let their cravings unattended. They’re resourceful buyers, creative hustlers and bargain hunters who would scour for fab items under a not-so hefty price tag.

One Friday afternoon, the (then) YAWYW team found itself at Makati Cinema Square to check out what this cheap haven has in store for budget fashionistas out there.

Six Ways to Make your Thrift Shopping a Success

Last Friday, I went to Makati Cinema Square to do some thrift shopping with my co-intern, Geisha. Check out YAWYW next week to know more about that!

I admit it's my first time to buy second-hand clothes for myself but I sure learned a lot from that visit. And I'll be the first to tell you, I've been missing a lot! Here are some tips I picked up from my experience and the vendors. You might have heard them from somewhere else but it's much better to reinforce so you won't forget!

Gimme Five

Happy Easter, guys! How's everyone celebrating?

I still have a week before my classes last and summer set in so let me just end this month with looks I've posted on its duration. I promise I'll write a better blog post when I'm not as light-headed as I am now.

This March, I have to admit my blogger switch wasn't full on because I got so tired and I felt that I just have to rest. Since I'm crawling my way to summer in a week (Notice my excitement, I'm sorry if I keep on repeating it! lol), I'll try my very best to take more outfit shots on April and blog more regularly as I used to!

Howdy, Cowboy!

For my Film 100 (Introduction to Film) class, our group was assigned to report about the Western genre in movies. Inspired by Western, we wore costumes that would define those type of films.
 I am a cowgirl, if it's still isn't obvious. =p

Theatrical Christmas

Remember UP JC, the organization I mentioned here? Well, like other organizations, we hold an annual Christmas party. I was one of the organizing team this year. I don't know how we came up with the Dark Opera theme for a Christmas party but I don't care, it was fun dressing up! As always! :)
(though we changed it to theatrical at the last minute =))
