Three Times a Charm

I don't know if it's a criminal offense in the fashion world to repeat something because if it was, I would have been sentenced to life imprisonment a long time ago. I'm not rich so I have to learn to economize or this blog wouldn't run.

You might believe two times is a killer and three is just too much but when left with both no choice and money, you'd have to settle and forget you wore it sometime before. Think of it. There's really nothing wrong in repeating. You don't buy an item to wear it once!

I was told beforehand by Ate Karla, the one who invited me, to wear something in accordance with the theme, "Summer Gold." I had no idea what Summer Gold is so I implored the help of my good, old friend Google. I thought it was a mixture of something representative of summer paired with a gold top or bottom. So I prepared a completely different outfit than this one! Even if I do believe that there's nothing wrong in repeating, I think it's a very safe choice to wear this dress again but I was so afraid that everyone would be in white and gold so I made sure I follow the memo.

OMG, I love this head wrap! I tried this whole ensemble on without it and I looked completely different! Small details can really make a big difference so you always have to give them some of your attention, if not all.

A Christmas Reunion

I graduated high school at UST. I have visited it a few times after graduation but since second year started, I haven't gone to it for a long time. I had to wait for Paskuhan to come before I went back to my beloved alma mater.

Paskuhan is a yearly Christmas celebration of UST where students come flock, bands are invited to perform,  and a fireworks display is set. I've been going to Paskuhan since 1st year high school so there is no way I'm missing it now even if I don't study in UST anymore.

Plus, it's always nice to see old, familiar faces and how much they've changed!

I also consider Paskuhan a fashion event because so many students dress up for the night. It's one big campus party!

Here's what I wore:

Red Birthday Treats: CYA Family

My third treat was for my CYA-UPD brothers and sisters.

CYA stands for Christ's Youth in Action. It is a college organization that molds students to grow as leaders and followers of Christ. CYA is divided into many units. I am a UP Diliman student and that automatically puts me as part of the QC-Hub district (schools found in the Quezon City area). I became involved in this organization since I was first year because my sister, who is already a member of CYA (but from another unit), invited me.  I want to change and grow in my faith so I said why not give it a try. One of the things I love about CYA is its strong upbuilding relationships.

I love my CYA family and treated some of them for Red box fun!
