As promised, here's the second round of revisiting my grandma's closet. In my attempt to score a timely piece, I found a bold statement one instead---big standout flowers, not to mention. I grabbed a floral button-down given to my sister from my cousin and donned a print-on-print ensemble that I was happy, in some magic way, worked. There was nothing alike in these two pieces except for the presence of flowers in both. It can be argued the colors weren't really made to be paired but in my alternate reality, it's simply fashionable. This outfit post enters the list of my weekend's many surprises.

If I blogged about our Mom's day celeb here, this is what I wore or what I changed into for the shoot. A little secret for your guys is I don't really wear exactly the same in my posts because a) it's summer , I mostly don't have anywhere to go to and; b.) I can't wear heels when commuting or walking to the mall because that would be torture. So don't believe everything you see in blog posts! :>

Remember this mood board of mine? Oh how badly I've always wanted to wear a polka dot over a polka dot ensemble. I don't know why this particular print, though quirky and bold, has still remained an in-thing up to now. So when I bought my cheapest ever Forever 21 find, I paired it with a skirt I hoarded from my mom's teenage closet and voila!
